Environmental Policy

James Bay Lowlands enlarge

The international community has established important guidelines for properly engaging in mining exploration and development. We believe that exceeding the minimum regulatory requirements leads to benefits beyond profitability. Furthermore, utilizing effective exploration techniques has a direct impact on the natural surroundings.

By insuring that the most effective and up to date equipment are being utilized, we have been able to carry out important studies while staying within the framework of critical environmental regulations. Both geophysical surveying and till sampling take place over a short period of time while additional studies, such as ground surveys, are usually completed in days.

The habits of the local wildlife are an important consideration whenever project developments are being explored. For us, reducing the level of disturbance and keeping environmental impact to a minimum are the two key issues we face.

Our strategic environmental plan includes programs to insure that all areas of activity are left untainted. In addition, the areas occupied by our staff during exploration are a small percentage of the explored area to minimize disturbance. We have made it our policy to remove any waste used while surveying and we put primary emphasis on the prevention of fuel damage.

Our team of professional advisors will always evaluate environmental concerns and has pledged to continue contributing to the environmental development of our vital areas of exploration.
