DiaMine Explorations Inc. Has Completed Magnetometer Survey In James Bay Lowlands
November 25, 2007 - DiaMine Explorations Inc. (DIEXF) is pleased to announce that the Company has completed its magnetometer survey in a promising new project area of the James Bay Lowlands.
Terraquest Limited of Markham, Ontario flew two airborne magnetic surveys on behalf of DiaMine Explorations Inc. in the fall of 2007, each consisting of both total magnetic field intensity and gradient magnetic intensity, in the up-ice direction of the diamond indicator mineral train. A large circular to oval total field positive magnetic anomaly independent of the basement country rock magnetic field was discovered during the course of airborne magnetic surveying. More importantly, results of the gradient survey, which accentuate the magnetic response of near surface features, show that the source for this anomaly is at or near surface.
The company has already targeted two specific claims areas to be staked and they are to be included as an important new project area in the DiaMine Explorations Inc. property portfolio.
